WORKSHOP: Innovation by Design
A day of training and experimentation that will change the way you innovate products, services, and processes.
By participating in the Innovation by Design workshop, you will discover the principles of Design Thinking and the basics of Service Design, and you will be able to immediately apply the PENTA Method in the design of innovative products and services to improve workflows, the performance of your organization, your business, and customer and user satisfaction.
The “PENTA or 5D Method” (Dream, Discover, Define, Develop, Deliver) is a structured method based on the validation of Service Design experts from around the world. It is the method that Maple has been using for over 15 years in dozens of successful projects for companies, institutions, and organizations of all kinds and sizes. It is a design method around which we have developed and tested effective tools and specific modules for the Italian market.
During the workshop, the theoretical foundations are conveyed using agile methods and interactive tools. Innovation by Design has a very practical approach and is conducted by alternating short lectures with workshops and simulation activities based on real case studies.

Who is the workshop intended for?
Aspiring entrepreneurs, startup founders, entrepreneurs and professionals, officials and executives of companies in the service and trade sectors, public officials and executives who want to start design and co-design activities, either internally or with the help of external designers and facilitators.
More generally, Innovation by Design is aimed at anyone interested in experimenting with and mastering a valuable design method adopted by many large, successful international companies.
Procedure and duration
The class consists of a maximum of 16 participants. Two or more teachers (depending on the number of participants) alternate between lectures and assistance during workshops. Guest speakers may be present to support the presentation of real-life cases. The senior teacher of the workshop is Alessandro Nasini.

Materials and tools
All necessary materials are provided by Maple. A kit will be provided to all participants. It is recommended but not essential to bring a laptop or tablet.
Where
In Rome, at Maple's premises, at an external location agreed with the client, or via telepresence. It is always possible to arrange ad hoc dates for groups of at least four participants or for special projects.

Individual and group costs
The individual cost of participating in the workshop, including teaching materials, welcome breakfast, coffee breaks, light lunch, and aperitif, is €520.00 including VAT.
For a limited number of registrations completed within 30 days of the calendar date (early bird), the cost is €460.00 including VAT per individual registrant and €1,180.00 including VAT for groups of three participants from the same organization.
